SHIBU Token Pledges a Decade of Support for Better World Fund

The Better World Fund recently held a two-day event marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Sweden Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. The event ended with a star-studded gala dinner and award ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. During the event, Better World Fund also announced its partnership with the SHIBU token. This platform offers a wide range of products and progressive solutions in the field of decentralized finance.

Better World Fund is a philanthropic foundation focused on using art, notably cinema, on raising awareness about various humanitarian issues, including women’s rights, education, climate, and biodiversity. Meanwhile, SHIBU token has been the frontrunner in the cryptocurrency landscape and has been proactive in their mission to give back to society. Together, the two organized bodies are aiming to raise funds for humanitarian aid and build a better world for the coming generations.

The Better World Fund announced that SHIBU has pledged to support its mission for the next ten years during the two-day event. The sale of SHIBU tokens has already raised over $500,000, and through this, SHIBU raised $30,000 for charity. SHIBU is a deflationary Binance Smart Chain token that aims to spark change by directly redirecting its income towards humanitarian needs.

SHIBU will have its presale on January 13, 2022 at 1 PM UTC through their website; it will end on January 17, 2022 at 1 PM UTC. Its first DEX listing will be on January 20, 2022 at 1 PM UTC. It has promised to give 18.75% from generated fees, 13.99% from pre-sales, and 12.5% from its supply of tokens.

Manuel Collas de la Roche, president of the Better World Fund and co-founder of SHIBU, stressed that SHIBU is unlike any other token in the cryptocurrency arena because it is the only token in the celebrity and influencer marketplace already in development today because of a successful private sale. In addition, SHIBU has also gained support from various Hollywood and European celebrities in the film industry.

The other co-founders are Geraldine Dunayer, Director of the Better World Fund – UAE; Gustavo Antonio Montero, a banker and crypto enthusiast who previously opened Standard Chartered Bank in Switzerland; and Shibu Thomas, who is renowned in pharmaceutics, a major success story in real estate, and the face of Shibu.

Furthermore, SHIBU will be utilizing a unique NFT marketplace funded and backed by celebrities to rapidly fulfill its mission. Recognizing this innovation, the Better World Fund also sent out an invitation for SHIBU to attend the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, which the foundation will be organizing in Canne in May 2022.

During the event, SHIBU will place a next-generation metaverse scanner throughout the festival with three professionals to guide and help celebrities. All the scans will be transformed into NFTs and will be put up for auction.

“We are delighted to be joining forces with SHIBU token, along with celebrities and influencers, to raise funding for the Better World Dunf and the humanitarian projects we are financing,” said Manuel Collas de la Roche.
